Easy Yogurt Fruit Dip
This creamy, easy protein-packed dip is a delicious way to enjoy the fruit you have on hand. The flavorful zest uses even more of the fruit.
Easy Yogurt Fruit Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain Greek-style yogurt
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
Directions:
- Rinse the orange well, pat dry.
- Zest just the colorful orange part of the rind to get all the aromatic oils. A microplane zester, citrus zester, or vegetable peeler makes this easy.
- Stir yogurt, ricotta, powdered sugar, and orange zest together in a small bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy for up to 5 days.
Recipe Tips
- Try flavored Greek yogurt rather than plain, omit powdered sugar, sprinkle with unsweetened cocoa powder or grated chocolate.
- Make a fruit tart: Double the dip recipe, spoon into a graham cracker crust and top with fruit.
- Make fruit nachos: Dollop dip on cinnamon and sugar pita chips, add chopped fruit and toasted nuts and coconut.
