Washington Hunger Relief Refrigerator Grant

Harvest Against Hunger, the WA State Department of Agriculture and Dairy Farmers of Washington are teaming up to provide up to $2,000 rebates toward the purchase of refrigerated and/or frozen storage units for hunger relief programs across Washington.

The Hunger Relief Refrigerator Grant Initiative is open to hunger relief partners in Washington, including meal programs, food pantries and tribal hunger relief programs. Eligible programs must be registered as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit in the state of Washington, have a fiscal sponsor supporting your services, or be a Federal or State recognized tribe.

We’re asking programs to please report the legislative districts they serve. Click here to view a map of Washington’s current legislative districts.

Due to the limited amount of funding available, we can only provide one grant per organization. Grants are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funding is fully expended.

Please Note: This rebate cycle uses a funding allotment that was established as part of the WA State fiscal year 2020-21 budget (July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021).

We can only provide rebates for purchases made after July 1, 2020.
