Bolinhas de Queijo (Brazilian Mozzarella Cheese Ball)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Darigold milk of your preference
- 1 1/2 cups AP flour
- 1 tbsp Darigold butter
- Appel Farms Farmstead Swiss cheese 7oz, cubed
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs or panko

Preheat the deep fryer to 375 degrees F.

In a saucepan bring milk to a boil. Add flour and butter and stir until everything is well incorporated. Remove from heat and let cool.

Once cooled down, knead until the dough is smooth.

Scoop 1 tablespoon of dough, flatten it out with the palm of your hands. Add a cube of cheese and roll it into a small ball. Repeat with the remaining dough.

Coat with egg and breadcrumbs and place in a tray. Repeat the process with the rest of the balls.

Place balls in deep fryer and fry until golden brown – about 4-5 minutes.
