WSDA Exports Mission
With 95 percent of the world’s population living outside U.S. borders, connecting them with high-quality dairy products is essential to growing sales. Daniel and Nidia Wavrin from Ferndale Farmstead participated in a trade mission to South Korea in February coordinated by WSDA, which opened doors to new business relationships and partnership opportunities.
U.S. Dairy Export Council Mission
In May, a few DFW staff members, the U.S. Dairy Export Council and regional cheese makers participated in a food show in Hong Kong to showcase western region dairy products, in addition to building relationships with buyers and trade experts in Japan.
